Asia Mines and Minerals Development Company is a resource- and technology-based company that develops produces and markets worldwide a broad range of specialty mineral products and related systems and services. The Company has two reportable segments: Industrial Minerals and Mining Consultancy Services.
The Industrial Minerals segment is a leading producer and supplier of bentonite, fluorspar, barite, silicon dioxide, zeolite, perlite and vermiculite to industrial and consumer markets globally. Products offered by the Industrial Minerals segment include additives for powdered laundry detergent formulation, pet litter, potting soil & propagation, high-performance hydroponics, filter-aid, abrasive for soaps and polishes, buried oil tank decommissioning. This segment operates more than 6 mining or production facilities in Iran. The industrial Minerals segment also provides products for environmental and infrastructure projects worldwide. It serves customers engaged in a broad range of construction projects, including lightweight concrete, concrete waterproofing for underground structures, masonry & under slab insulation, plaster aggregate, bulk filler & texturizing agent, liquid containment on projects ranging from landfills to flood control, masonry & under slab insulation, and drilling applications including foundation, slurry wall, tunneling, oil and gas wells and horizontal drilling.
Mining Consultancy Services segment is based on members with diverse mining technical and production experience. This segment provides services to improve the production, costs, compliance, and environmental impact of activities performed in the mines. Our specialists range from mine manager level to mine planners with practical experience to understand the constraints and opportunities that exist on mines. Our specialists in the “engine room” come from solid technical backgrounds and have gained extensive technical project and mine planning experience at Iran. We take pride in the fact that we follow a sound and proven technical planning process that has withstood various external audits and reviews over the years. These teams support our experienced principal mining engineers to sign off on Mineral/ Ore Reserves on a range of commodities and mining methods.
